Why choose the Costa Blanca North?
For many people, their choice comes right down to a straight comparison
between the Costa Blancas North & South and the Costa del Sol. Below are some comparisons.

Coastline The coastline between Benidorm and Denia is undoubtedly one of the most dramatic, mountainous and picturesque in Southern Spain . |

Investment - high yield Property in the Northern Costa Blanca has far better long-term capital appreciation potential, as demand and prices are peaking in the Costa del Sol . The Northern Costa Blanca tends to be more residential with fewer properties and greater space between them. Monte Pego is outstanding for rentals because only around 15% of the housing stock is available to the rental sector. Demand, therefore, exceeds supply for much of the year. Villa rental yields in Monte Pego are superior to predominantly holiday areas. |

Less Developed (Northern Costa Blanca)
The quality of life is considerably higher in the Northern Costa Blanca (also known as Costa Blanca North) as mass tourism and busy traffic tends to be confined to the Torrevieja area(Costa Blanca south and Costs del Sol. The Coast and countryside is extraordinarily beautiful, particularly in the Northern part of the Costa Blanca between Benidorm and Denia: dramatic mountains merge gently with green hills rich in pines, olives, almonds, vines and orange groves. Moraira, Javea, Denia and parts of Calpe are in a conservation zone where building height and density are strictly controlled. Amongst the scenic rural surroundings nestle several golf courses, towns and beautiful villages providing excellent facilities for modern day living. The terrain in the southern Costa Blanca (Torrevieja region South of Alicante) tends to be flat and featureless with high-density mass-produced buildings servicing the 'mass' end of the market. |
